A digital meishi business card is a mobile web page about you and your work. People open it from a link, a QR code or a tap of an NFC card, save your contact details in one step and see what you offer: your services, recent work, documents, testimonials you have collected and a way to book or enquire.

Questions before you start

Do I need a physical card?

No. A digital profile works on its own through its link and QR code. An NFC card is optional and adds a tap-to-share way to open the same profile.

Do people need an app to open my profile?

No. It opens in the phone’s normal web browser after a tap, a scan or a click.

What can I show on my profile?

Contact details and social links, services or products, a photo gallery, documents for download and testimonials you have collected. Bookings, enquiry forms, lead capture and a CRM are part of the Business Add-ons plan.

Can I change my profile later?

Yes. Edit it whenever you like; the same link, QR code and card show the updated profile.

Is there a monthly fee?

The Brand Presence and Business Add-ons profile plans are one-off payments. Optional extras that renew, such as the yearly editable link for review and social cards, are labelled as yearly before you buy.

Is there a delivery charge?

Physical NFC cards are delivered with no delivery charge added at checkout. Digital-only plans have nothing to deliver.

Price

Every price in the Japan store is on request for now. Tell us the product, how many you need and the delivery address, and we reply within 48 hours with a quote: ask for a quote. The free profile costs nothing and needs no quote.

Privacy

In Japan, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) governs personal information, and the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC) oversees it. The APPI asks businesses to specify the purpose of use and to notify people of it or publish it when they collect personal information. If your profile collects names and contact details, state that purpose clearly.

How people share

Meishi exchange still opens most meetings in Japan: the card is offered with both hands, read briefly and placed on the table rather than put away. A printed meishi with a QR code keeps that etiquette and lets the other person open your profile later. Many professionals keep a Japanese and an English version.

Delivery

Japan is not on the online checkout’s delivery list, so delivery is quoted on request, together with the price.

Can I keep handing over a printed meishi?
Yes. Our PVC, wooden and metal cards carry an NFC chip and a printed QR code, so the exchange stays the same and the profile opens from either.
